Executive by Alex Perry

My work as a model has seen me wear many different styles of clothing suiting many different occasions. I've modelled eveningwear, daywear, clothing for teenagers, punk-inspired ensembles, Korean golfwear (the worst), wedding dresses, swimwear and just about everything else in between. One of the only apparel genres that I've rarely had proximity to is office wear.
Never having had a "real job", I've oft wondered what I would wear if I were confined to a cubicle under fluorescent strip lighting, or commanding meetings while pointing at graphs. Whilst the boys pretty much have it made, it seems that there are few options for the style-conscious woman and very little allowance for self-expression.
Well, disillusioned businesswomen of Australia, hold onto your sensible hosiery.
Sunglass rack and king of Australian glamour, Alex Perry, has forayed into the far less dazzling world of office apparel with his new diffusion line, Executive by Alex Perry
The 10-piece collection was inspired by the European Alps and, according to brand manager Kerryn Raco, uses a colour palette of "sage, pine, acorn, blossom and of course, the usual black."
The range is set to be launched alongside Perry's A/W 2012 eveningwear collection and will be available at David Jones and his Strand Arcade boutique in Sydney. It will be available in sizes 6 to 16 and prices will range from $179 to $599.
Perfect for wearing while pointing at graphs.
