Happy new year, lovelies! I know it's cliche as heck, but HOW is it 2016 already? 2015 simply flew by. Work-wise, I was grateful to be part of some incredible, fun productions, including the Channel 7 miniseries Peter Allen: Not The Boy Next Door, a short comedy film called Jinxed and the upcoming Channel 10 miniseries Brock. I'm starting the new year off in a very exciting way too... On Thursday, I'll start shooting a new short film called DUFFY, and I am now officially represented by 3 Arts Entertainment in the USA! I am still with Benchmark Creative in Australia, and will be adding a US agent to the roster soon (3 Arts is a management company, and in the US you need both an agent and a manager), but at the risk of sounding cliche again, I am so pumped about these developments in my artistic journey! Ugh. Okay, I'm done. Onto the fun stuff!
On Friday night, I attended the St. George Openair Cinema launch and premiere of the film Looking For Grace, which was very interesting and heart-wrenching (yes, I cried, as I do in almost every movie).
Now it's back to the couch for me, with a dose of Golden Globes to get me through my hideous summer cold, which has taken my voice right before I'm booked to record some ADR for a film! Great timing as always, body.
