I adore Cassandra Clare's 'Mortal Instruments' book series and was over the moon to have the chance to audition for the film adaptation last year. I, along with thousands of other girls, was unfortunately not what they were looking for and the role of Isabelle Lightwood went to the lovely Jemima West. The below trailer for the first film in the series looks fantastic, painting a much darker and more dramatic picture than I had envisioned. The August 22 Australian release date cannot come fast enough!
