I will forever remain devastated that I did not make it to New York to see the wonderful Josh Gad's turn in Trey Parker and Matt Stone's The Book of Mormon on Broadway, but at least I got my fix when I finally got around to seeing Frozen last week. He was an absolute delight. A comic reliever of the highest degree. A ray of hilarious sunshine in the absence of any exciting princess dresses. But seriously, whoever was in charge of that design department has a lot to answer for. What a missed opportunity! You think those boring-ass outfits could stand up to Belle's petticoat-laden yellow ball gown, or Ariel's sparkly exiting-the-ocean dress, or even Jasmine's red hot enslaved-by-Jafar outfit? I don't think so.
The reindeer rip-off of Pegasus in Hercules was also enjoyable.
