Dubai 2015: part one

I finally managed to get some of my Dubai photos up! My Macbook and iPhone have seemingly had issue after issue so it has been a reeeal struggle. But here they are, and many more to come! 
I visited Dubai's most famously beautiful mosque (hence the photo of me in the black covering one is made to wear), zipped up to the top of the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, and went on a desert safari in a vintage Land Rover Defender, complete with a falconry display (I checked with the handler and was assured that the birds are very well-treated... Spoiled, even!), traditional Arab dinner, a camel trek and traditional dance displays. I was made to wear the black scarf for that day too - in order to avoid a sand-in-mouth situation if there is sandstorm!

    I would love to have a traditional Arab dinner! But I don't know that I would hold a falcon lol. That looks terrifying!
