Last week's events in Paris were truly horrifying. I hesitate to comment publicly on such occurrences, largely because I agree with this Anthony Jeselnik bit. I also feel that there is no need for my feeble input when there are wonderful people who have real authority on the subject and can actually make a difference, e.g. Australia's own Waleed Aly shutting it down with this speech about ISIS.
No matter what, as cliché as it sounds, we all need to stick together, be kind to one another and do what we love without fear. In the words of the glorious Leandra Medine:

They say that living well is the best revenge so that’s what we’ll do. We’ll open our hearts and our doors, we won’t forget, we might forgive and above all else we’ll be vigilant in our celebration of liberté, égalité et fraternité.
